Is anyone experiencing trouble with accessing your hotmail accounts from windows live mail desktop?? I am not able to access them for the past 2-3 days from any of my computers.
Is the tech team aware of it. I don't see any updates in their blog

You meant WL Mail, for WLMD, right?
I am having no problem, working fine. -
Working in Outlook. I've had issues in the past with WLMD running along side with Windows Live Messenger Beta, usually a re-install does the trick.

Make sure you have the latest version of the client.
Try the following link:

Just check if your sign-in screen looks like the one shown in the blog entry: http://morethanmail.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!B7DD1FF3F141F9A1!3459.entry -
No probs here but am still waiting for Windows Live Calendar and Windows Live Sidebar.

That reminds me. Is there a reason Outlook won't sync with my Live mail calenders?

Everything is back to normal.
This page has the wrong file
http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas
The file in your link is 15meg while the one in MSFT page is an older 13.5Meg file

I think you need to upgrade to a premium homtail account for that. -
Hi,
I had the same problem. I checked on my Windows Updates and they were installed on Sept. 14, this is when the problem began. So, I removed the updates, rebooted then opened WL Mail and selected forget me. Then I was able to sign on with the same user account name. Make sure that Windows Updates is NOT set to automatic or they will just reinstall after the reboot and it will not have fixed the problem. Generally, you should wait a week or so before installing ang new Windows Updates.
