You've got an inside source?

When? Is this a Beta 3?
Can we get more information?
What about SQL Server 2008 when is it going to go to beta? -
I hope not. I would much rather see a 2008 RC1 than another CTP. You beta chasers should be clamoring for a Visual Studio 2010 CTP instead.

Sorry, no source... It has just been a while since Beta 2 and I need a new release now! It must have been wishfull thinking... -
Since we are talking about VS 2008, there is something that bothers me about the way it detects code errors.
Once you fix it the red or blue lines that underline the error nous code, don't disappear once you fix it. YOU ALWAYS have to rebuild the application in order for the IDE to detect that that error has been fixed. I wished The IDE would know , just like when Word knows if I fixed a spelling mistake right away. There should be a way for it to detect right away , in a performant manner, that the error had been fixed, and I should not be rebuilding the app. each time I fix errors.
I know this might require background compilation after each error, but i think MS should implement an intelligent solution to rectify this situation, and make us more lazy devs

Switch to VB.net

I think the more intelligent thing to do would be to install ReSharper 3.0. -

Visual Studio Team System codename Rosario August CTP
It isn't exactly new, but it is a CTP of the next version of Visual Studio to be released after 2008.
