I enjoy FF's layout, as I edited the userChrome.css heavily.

*If so, I have no problem developing sites with FF.
With IE7 about the same as FF, but with IE6, it's a different story.

Actually I've found ClearType and other subpixel font rendering techniques work better on Trinitrons than other types of CRTs.
But it's hit and miss. The technique was designed for LCDs, whether it helps on a CRT or looks awful varies a lot.
