..or it could be named like Tech Off... only a bit different... 
then coffeehouse could be mainly upbeat/happy and if your in a bad mood..ahem...you go to The Vent to let off some steam...

That way you could say things like 'which event was that', or 'event-driven programming"...

Sounds like a good idea, the trouble is I'd spend all my time over there and this place might become quite a lot quieter! -

jamie your dog wants you to spend more time with him and forget about channel9. he says he would like walks through the park and by the beach, and he would like a sweater so he can weather the cold. he says it would show your feelings for him if you would knit it yourself. most of all he wants a hug.

edit: she was also mad in that pic - as she is trying to take over foster the cat's new sleep pillow.. it's way too small for her.. but she tries to get in to spite the cat - and then... glares at us..ha

Haha! And when Charles has to block a thread after it eventually crosses the line (which it will, given time), he can close it with the words event handled!
