you could do it that way - or you click view - just like now you have to click .. um.. orb?

but in this version - it would show - running programs (taskbar)  background programs (notification area) and All programs  - * also with "Uninstall" link right next to each - combined.

*i know i didnt show this but the first click on view menu is programs
