Since I saw someone wanted something to discuss on a lazy Sunday, I thought of a possible topic.  Since most of the people on the site seem to be developers, it deals with your background(s). 

1.  Why did you choose a career in software development?

2.  What did you start programming with/on?

3.  What is it that drives you to do what you do everyday?

And finally:

4.  If you can say, what was the most fascinating project you did or worked on?

I ask these not as a developer myself, but someone who is curious to see the thinking process of the majority of the community.
