@W3bbo: I don't know what other people's prerogatives are here, but as someone who knows both WPF and WinForms, I prefer using WPF both because, also a designer, I can create better looking and functioning apps, and because I like the platform. In cases where I have to make workarounds against some of the limits of WPF I just do that once and reuse the code. Of course that's just my decision.
