I'm unable to view videos on facebook profiles with latest beta 2 of ie 8. (Get "Done, but with errors on page" javascript warnings in status bar on nearly EVERY fb page.)
When I click a video in a friend's profile it takes me directly to the "Add a comment" page.
Just to confirm: Everything works perfectly fine in Firefox, so not a general fb issue.
Can anyobdy duplicate this behavior/bug/issue/problem?

Also: The "Online Friends" fly-out in the lower right corner of the (new) fb profile doesn't seem to work anymore in ie 8 beta 2...

There are some JavaScript errors and the 'new Facebook' only works in compatibility mode. The script errors stay in all modes, maybe that's it. The question just is, wether if this is a IE8 issue or a Facebook script issue.BeSharp said:Also: The "Online Friends" fly-out in the lower right corner of the (new) fb profile doesn't seem to work anymore in ie 8 beta 2... -
there are also problems with wordpress (have to use FF now) cnn, and FRONTPAGE
*they wouldnt go and break frontpage on purpose - to drive upgrades to expression would they?
I hope someone tests frontpage 2003 with ie8 - pleeeeease -
Facebook needs the compatibility mode for now... but they are working on the issue as far as I have seen. When IE8 first came out the new facebook wasn't even available for it. I got something like: The new Facebook has been disabled. Now it's available and that makes me think that they work on it.
