Hi guys, again this Beta 2 of Whidbey. I'm only wondering if there are new rumours. I heard it will be on air by mid or end of april... Is that true?
I'm really waiting hard. Can anyone tell me more? I need only that go-life license. Is there a way to get a go-life license for Beta 1. Does anybody know more about that?

Obviously beta 1 didn't have a go-live license for a reason. If you want to use it outside a test environment you will have to wait for beta 2. Don't forget this is not only Visual Studio but also the .net framework that has to enter beta 2.

I know that. But the framework in the December CTP seemed to me more stable then the IDE

CTP's don't get as much testing as a beta version. So beta 2 will be more stable than the December CTP.

I think you need more than a programming platform for a "go-life" license.

At the show in Prague on Thursday, Brian Goldfarb said that Beta2 should be available in six weeks. He also said Beta2 will be most probably with GoLive licence.

Does the new DotNet 2.0 Beta 2.0 EULA have the Sun-inspired disclaimer: "This software cannot be used in mission critical, life-support, financial backbone institutions...etc..." warning?

Hopefully they ship with Go-Live. The other part of the license is not that much important to me
- but good point - hehe.
