Got it installed, very easy, only took a few minutes.  Nice range of features, good selection of file types supported (mp3, wma, ogg, flac etc).  Not as polished as the native UI, but some of the new features make up for that. 

See how I feel about it in a few weeks...

so this supports wma (iphone auto-converts wma) ... what about wmv?  does it work on a new iphone 3g?
is it in the app store? do you need an unlocked phone?

i would rather not re-encode everything to mp4 ...

Tread carefully!!  It's a complete replacement firmware, so no, will never be on the app store!

I only have a 1st gen iPod nano, so no video support for me.

this is....mine is classic 80G   how am i supposed to install a rockbox on...
