Palin obliterated Biden. He looked like a kid that was about to wet his pants, he walked away like a dog with his tail between his legs. It was great. Anyone who votes for Obama now is just plain idiotic. McCain is the way to go. For the best choice
for the white house, McCain/Palin is the way to go. Obama/Biden are just a waste of time.

Frankly sir/madam, you are an idiot! And in the spirit of a standard Palin statement, I do not need to backup that comment with Facts!

What planet are you living on? She didn't answer any of the questions, instead opting to regurgitate memorised fluff which is all words and no substance. The only thing that the Republicans can take from the debate is she didn't make any more massive gaffes which have been the staple of late night comedy shows. Biden was boring, sure, but at least he had something to say.

I bet she would have been much better is she was a gNuisance user.....evildictaitor said:What planet are you living on? Hush you fools. Don't talk to the "deliberately being controversial to get attention and justify their meagre lives" trolls.jh71283 said:

Well, not for breakfast, and not entire ponies, but, you know, I like horse on my plate.

"cold toast"? That's awfully specific for a Donkey.
I've not eaten horse though, apparantly it's very nice. We're eating a relatively large amount of veal at the moment since discovering that:
a - now "ethical" or "pink" veal is commonly available that it's the ethical and environmentally sound meat to eat.
b - it's suprising cheap and delicious, probably because everyone still thinks it's cruel.
Marvellous all round. -
When do politicians ever actually answer questions in debates?evildictaitor said:What planet are you living on? Arguably no meat is environmentally sound; it takes more energy to feed the animals (via grain etc.) that the end product delivers; if you wanted to be environmentally sound it's time to go vegan.Massif said:Dr Herbie said:*snip*"cold toast"? That's awfully specific for a Donkey.

My theory is cruelty makes for tastier food, witness veal and foie gras. I've tried telling vegetables they are horrible and nobody loves them, but spinach still tastes awful no matter how cruel you are to it.

Avoiding any wars here...
I watched the debates and did enjoy the way she handled him.
They were both very well manered but he still got a little too hot at times.
Even if you don't like her, for whatever reason, you have to admit she did a very good job staying cool and collective. -
Well, no meat is possibly more sound than meat. But veal is a waste product from the Dairy industry, so eating it is considerably more sound than not eating it, and letting it go to waste.blowdart said:

Also veal's delicious whatever, the extra cruelty seems superflous to me.
And I find the best way to make vegetables taste nicer is to tortue them in scorching hot liquid fat for several minutes, the longer the better, just so long as you don't burn them too badly. -
Of course the cruelty for veal comes from boxing which doesn't happen in the EU anyway.Massif said:

I really enjoyed it. I honestly (and not trying to start a fight here either) found Palin to be a bit more welcoming than Biden. She actually seems like somebody who isn't tainted by the Government B.S. that practically all Politicians are.
That aside, the only thing that really annoys me is the en masse use of tu quoque relatiations. I mean, when somebody says "Sir/Ma'am, you voted X on Y topic - how do you explain yourself!" and the opponent responds with "Well, my opponent's friend voted the same way" - I just get so furious. THAT is not an explanation for why YOU did it.
This happened multiple times last night, and it was really pissing me off. The candidates need to take some introductory classes for debate and logic before opening their mouths on national television. Fortunately for them, I suppose, the average American has no clue what types of fallacies are commited during persuasive pseudo-arguments often used by fancy-dressed rich white folks in power.
