Despite the furore around Microsoft trying to buy out Yahoo at the beginning of the year, and the dodgy tactics used by Jerry Yang to avoid the takeover bid, Google today has pulled out of its advertising deal with Yahoo and Mr Yang has said  "To this day the best thing for Microsoft to do is buy Yahoo"
