Wake me up when KDE stops sucking.
I find KDE horribly unusable on Linux. Why would I subject myself to that pain in Windows, too?
(Yes, I am a fairly regular Linux user, and yes, I use Gnome.) -
I'm not a KDE user but I have tested it recently on Fedora rawhide. The latest KDE 4.2 version works great. I really like how multiplatfrom-friendly KDE environment is. The people who uses KDE on some other environment may found it comfortable to run the same software on Windows also.
KDE 4.2 will be released on January 27th -
I'm curious how they pulled this off? Does KDE run on top of Explorer, or did they change the way Windows boots so it loads KDE instead?

KDE for Windows is not the entire desktop environment: it's just a way of porting KDE applications to Windows. It does not replace the shell.spivonious said:I'm curious how they pulled this off? Does KDE run on top of Explorer, or did they change the way Windows boots so it loads KDE instead? -
Your link's broken. Try http://windows.kde.org.
