As an owner of 4 Zunes, I will say that the device and the service  does what it needs to do and do it well.  I would hate to see it go.

As far as Apple's sales, turn on the tv with a notebook and make two columns.  One Microsoft and Zune, and the other Apple and iPod/iPhone.

Is it any wonder the device doesn't sell when they don't advertise it?

The first batch of adverts were cutesy artist videos with no product featured.  The second batch, was just as bad.  The latest advertises the software and not the device.

So, most consumers have no idea it exists.

So, instead of canning the device, it would be nice to see Microsoft get serious, and actually put the advertising money behind the product, and not with Jerry Seinfeld either.

(sorry just had to throw in my two cents)
