The MSDN RSS feed is now supplying HTTPS urls for pages. I wonder why - it increases the time taken for a page to come down the wire, increases processing load, and a lot of people will have widgets or other content served from an HTTP site, giving warnings
in IE and Firefox. Heck even the root https://blogs.msdn.com has HTTP served elements in it, the webtrends and internal MS tracking images.

http://www.microsoft.com/feeds/msdn/en-us/rss.xml looks fine to me. Which feed are you talking about? http://blogs.msdn.com/MainFeed.aspx?

Yea. Weird, it appears to have righted itself. Now I'm not sure if newsgator was eating things or if it was a problem with the feed.joechung said:http://www.microsoft.com/feeds/msdn/en-us/rss.xml looks fine to me. Which feed are you talking about? http://blogs.msdn.com/MainFeed.aspx?

Was it the blog feed or the site feed that was giving you issues? We can keep an eye on it if we know which one was malfunctioning.blowdart said:

The blog feed. It was a bit strange, and didn't last long, and 6 items between 7:38 GMT and 9:00 and with 5 items between 9:52 GMT to 10:19JKelley said:

The first item at 9:52 was https://blogs.msdn.com:443/bramveen/archive/2009/02/10/free-e-books.aspx
The last item at 10:19 was https://blogs.msdn.com:443/ianpal/archive/2009/02/10/commonwealth-bank-of-australia-office-deployment-video.aspx

It's not feeds for me, it's sites. Every time a web search for something brings up a link to blogs.msdn.com I shudder when I click it, knowing that it can take either 8 seconds, or 2 minutes to load. Something is just wrong with the MSDN blog server or something, it's painfully slow.JKelley said:
