cheaper? not really... new fans are like 150EUR max, the power adapters are about the same, and I'm sure they don't like changes in current drawing either, if they even run with electricity on. I'll just try to cramp a lot of those in there and see how it goes.
And then I'm doing some design work for silent servers... and try to send them to those evil people...
