Windows 7 Edition Feature Comparison

Is there an in-depth feature comparison chart for Windows 7?

The edition comparison on the Microsoft website is just a very high level comparison.

Example:  Is there image level backups in the Windows Home Premium version?   Currently in Vista, it is not available in Home Premium but it is in Business and Ultimate.) I did see somewhere at some point that it was, but I would like confirmation again before I decide on the version.

Fair question. The Microsoft site doesn't tell you if for example IIS ships with any or all versions of Windows 7.

The table on Wikipedia has this note saying you can do it, but can't schedule it, with Home Premium:

Manual System Image Backup to local hard disks or DVDs is available in all Windows 7 versions. Automatic scheduled backups and backups to network shares are not available in Home Premium, Home Basic, and Starter versions.

Ed Bott also has an article discussing the differences that might be useful if you want details.

I think Paul Thurrott did a feature grid a couple weeks back.  IIRC they all had the same backup program, which means system images for all versions.

I don't care about scheduling. It's about creating an image after I build a machine so I can restore when someone messes it up...

I wonder why they'd pop IIS on home premium. Maybe they're preparing the field for some sort of consumer remote access type thing like the WHS remote access website?

double thanks to LeoDavidson. I only need the manual backup too. And I super happy that MS is making it available for all Win7. Now Win7 is truly disaster recoverable on all versions.

Probably future-proofing it. Networked homes are the future and it's better to have a good webserver built-in rather than trust third-parties to come along with their own, or use a rival's software (i.e. Apache).

IIS in non-server SKUs of Windows is limited to 1 active website though.
