Skip the embeds and iframes and I'd support it.  Given the way holes in this site are often exploited by long-time "trusted" members, I wouldn't trust anyone here with arbitrary executable content, though (which is essentially what embeds and iframes would allow).

And I agree 100% with blowdart: post this kind of stuff in the Feedback forum, or be prepared to deal with people calling you out on it. And if you don't want to talk to blowdart, why don't you ignore his posts instead?

It's a strange type of selfish though, if he really wanted to be heard by MS properly he'd put it in the right place. Instead he seems want to play to the audience, not MS.

If his feedback isn't heard and isn't implemented who does that hurt but him. Why does that bother you so much?

If the feedback isn't meant for MS, then it DOES belong in the coffeehouse. Just my humble opinion. I'm not trying to be forum police or nothing.

I like Jamie, but I don't like that he thinks netiquette does not apply to him. Feedback belongs in the feedback forum. And he doesn't seem to accept the reasons behind the limitations of the editor. I like the editor, I like the fact that C9 does not look like MySpace.

First: that argument makes no sense at all. You won't post feedback in the Feedback forum, because it's part of the "old" (???) v4, but you will post in the Coffeehouse, which is also v4? Revolution 9 is not about building yet another version of the platform from scratch.

Second: 8 will not be brought into 9, but will move to microsoft.com/student.

Tables would be nice, but then again they're actually there and allowed if you know some HTML. The only thing that bothers me is that tables have no borders and may distort the site's layout.
