No, it did not. Pretty much immediately after the introduction of Windows CE, the market decided which one was the best UI. Palm died shortly thereafter.

Ahh, the Casiopeia, one of the three "launch" PDAs for PocketPC 2000 along with the Compaq iPaq H3630 and HP Jornada 545. I had the 545 because being a skint 12 yearold at the time I was hard pressed to find the extra £50 to move to the H3630, which was undoubtably the best of the lot (ARM processor, which was future proof and allowed upgrades to PPC2002, whereas the Casio and HP had MIPS and SH3 respectively, severely limiting their software options).

I broke my 545 shortly after getting my Axim X51v, it's rotting in a landfill site somewhere.
