I am running the new version of the zune client software on one of my machines a folder comparison shows
The old 4.0 software has en-us, es-es and fr-fr as the language folders.
The new 4.2 software released today has those plus additional lanugage folders for DE-DE and Italian IT-IT.

As far as the error, you need to update your Zune Firmware.

The new Zune Update added a nice new library addition, Podcasts! Honestly, the feature is little, but it is very appreciated!

But only for XBox360 for now , ,without download client

The Zune client is the best of the best client even without Zune HD hardware.
The people try software -> Lov it-> Buy hardware (zune hd)

Let's see you're attempt to install software not available in your region, on a language that isn't supported in the client, on a device you had to have shipped from the US and you're now complaining and demanding things?

Zune software NOW IS ITALIAN
I wonder if this means that they will start shipping the Zune HD outside of the US (like in Canada) very soon? My trusty old Creative ZEN has a fidgety down button so if it ever completely stops working I'd probably get a Zune HD.
I'm guessing all this new ZUNE activity might have something to do with Zune on upcoming Windows Phone devices too ???

I am guessing it will be windows phone in the international sector first.

I'm not sure I understand the point of a Podcasts library if you only get it with a Zune device. The point of Windows libraries is so that multiple programs can use the same database instead of using separate databases, right?
Ideally, you'd want to use the same Podcasts library for both Zune and iPod, right?
The only solution, I think, to that would be to promote that applications allow the user a selection of libraries. And at any rate, the lack of the ability to do that I think makes Windows Live Photo Gallery frustrating. I would like to, for instance, have two picture libraries, and have a drop-down which allows me to select the one I currently want to view in the program. Then, actions like 'Publish' would only apply to the currently selected library.

Would the Podcast library show up through the extender into your XBox?
