I've been a member of C9 for a long time, but am not active at all and only check these forums out every three or four days now.

I felt though, that I had to sign in just to post this message as I am sick to death of seeing these stupid posts by you, Dovella.

Now, I know I will most likely be berated (or worse) for the following, but I just need to get it off my chest, so here goes...

Dovella, you are a sad, sad little man.  People have different opinions about what is and isn't good, get over it.  I'm sure I read on one of your rants that you had children?  If so, that means that you at least have the maturity to bring a child into this world, please use some of that maturity when it comes to posting on this forum.  My heart sinks when I see the first page and notice 3 or four posts by you, as this severly limits my choices as to what interesting posts I can read.  Please, please, please I implore you... STOP!

This is not sarcasm, I really wish the C9 mods would whack Dovella with the banhammer for a few weeks. It's getting a pain now.

The worst thing is I don't think Dovella is even trolling - that I could understand to some extent. I think he's actually deluded enough to think that he's supporting Microsoft and being a good little fan in some way. He's also somehow impervious to criticism, so despite everyone, including everyone in his beloved Microsoft, thinking that he's a moron, he keeps coming back for more.

personally i think engadget are morons who know little qabout the technology they suposedly educate us about... the post where they finally felt they needed to address the (clearly more than 16 users) was pretty arrogant as usual with them... engadget.. it isnt that we hate apple.. we hate that you post 2 million articles about any new apple product making the site even less interesting to read than usual... how about you try.. gosh.. posting ONE article like you do for the rest of the world.. and stop going spastic about the latest 'meh' your boyfriend apple made.

Apple "News" (Always the same and identical news)  = SPAM 100% , annoyng , and the arguments are never serious and concrete. ONLY CABBAGE

Most niners probably agree with you, we just gave up as C9 crew won't react as long as he doesn't personally insult someone. Probably all this is a great way to destroy MS communities - just post mindless stupid stupid stupid dull garbage that is on the same level as comments on youtube. You'll gradually scare away regulars and newcomers and you'll be left with mindless drones like dovella and raymond. In time the forum will be become another place on the internet filled with idiots. I once thought highly of C9, but more and more this forum is turning into hell.. most threads are boring, I miss some niners and what stands out nowadays is dovella's garbage. Anyone else noticed this trend?

The Microsoft MSDN forums and Usenet groups are a small patch of calm sea in a rough ocean.

The C9 forum system does support probations and non-permanent bans, so can we please see some more proactive moderation?

The Coffeehouse is a place for many topics, including anti-Apple discussions. However, there is the understanding that such discussions will be done in the spirit of reasonable debate, not troll-like spamming.

I'm all for allowing people the freedom to express themselves, so long as it doesn't involve abuse of others, which means that this should NOT involve a moderator.

Issues of relevance, on-topic/off-topic, distortion, or just simple annoyance, should be managed directly by the community, via feedback.

This is where the forum itself fails, as there is no way to rate posters, threads or posts.
