Virtual globe

Recently (dont know.. why) I am spending time on maps, locations...  where is what... and stuff

Norkant's VG is good, runs in java app,  nice (cause its acceptable in our low bandwidth) and looks neat.  File menu is good... "Open World" and "Save World"

I downloaded the WTC from paw print  (very old file,but good), if you add the diff times in to the main list and click on the location it opens a globe pointing to its location and globe can be rotated, kinda cool.

The only thing worse than using Java apps is drinking a glass of orange juice after brushing your teeth with mint toothpaste.  It is a zombie framework, it's dead, but it doesn't know it.  The only thing good to come from Java is AntiVirus 2010.  That app is fantastic. Not only does it infect noobs, but it causes spontaneous laughter in The Coffeehouse.

EDIT: That wasn't very nice of me. Thanks for the link. Sorry for being an *.  I guess that I am just prejudice against applications that require an old version of the Java runtime.  This may be due to the terrible experiences that I have had in dealing with Java.  It surfaces a rather visceral reaction, something akin to post traumatic stress disorder.  I get the same feeling when reading through someone else's rats nest of XLS macro code.
