Sorry for the delay on getting video downloads working. I've been, um, preoccupied in the hospital with my wife. They should be working tonight, though, and I'll get all the videos up tomorrow (and a bunch of new ones).
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think Scoble should take the weekend off. He's been actually working all week from the hospital room.
Unplug, Scoble. You deserve a rest and more importantly, get some quality time with your recovering better half.
I still haven't had time to watch all the videos either! (though since I was present at them, one could argue that I actually have)!
Peace,
C -
I agree that you should take a break, Robert. Spend some time with Maryam, and savor the non-geeky things that you have in your life.
I know it's hard to do (it is for me, anyway), but it's quite refreshing and revitalizing, and you definitely deserve it. None of us are thinking anything less of you for any delays on the videos.
Take care!

What delay? I still haven't seen all the C9 Birthday videos and there are 100 or so others.
Maryam is missed on the MSDN Webcasts, hope she comes back soon. -
I can only second this. Robert, there hasn't been any difference in your online presence during this week, although you were in the hospital with your wife.
Like Josh wrote: "Unplug" and enjoy the time-off with your wife! -
You all have never been in a hospital watching over a surgery patient, have you? They sleep much of the time. It's very boring work. Luckily there was wifi so I had something to do.
I got most of the downloads working. Bill Hill and the Cleartype team aren't up yet. They'll be up Monday. Enjoy! -
I hope it's secure WiFi, not that wacky WEP or unencrypted.
-
It was wide open unencrypted.
Hey, if you want to read my email, just ask. It's really boring stuff. -
I'm more concerned about your C9 password frankly. Are you using SSL to login?

work in the health sector and I think robots for patients company and companionship and more is a very good idea. Give the lpn's and assistants that are assigned 20 or so ptsI for monitoring a break, a robot would be better than a hurried human @ bedside assistance and calming, the robot could do blood pressure checks, monitoring breathing, soothe the patient like no nurse nor aid has time for. Look how we fall in love with robots in the movies, I think pt care would improve as well as the pts overall sense of well being.
The faster we go the less personable humans are. Its hard to meet that balance w/o help. Just a thought.
We have such a rich smorgasboard of thoughts here, and it is so interesting to have a glimpse of all the pieces of the puzzle. A real glimpse, not just a peck and a keystroke.
Happy Birthday Channel 9 Thanks Scobelizer Mobelizer
Blogging won't fix problems but it sure helps to shape up the pieces.

OK, I think I'm caught up now on all the downloads files. Sorry for the delay in getting those up.

Hey Scoble, I hope your wife gets better. Just remember surgery patients require reverse psychology, everything the doctor says she can do, tell her she cant do it. The things the doctor says not to do, tell her to do it.

Thanks Scoble!
