Pls established agreements with your partners to put WP7 in slate\tablet.
Windows 7 now is not the ideal system for slate , in this kind of devices people need simple things, no freedom.
I remember that Asus has been one of the first partners to ask for WP7 tablet

Not a fan of this idea. One of the advantages of developing for Windows Phone 7 over WinMo 6.x is that there's only one form factor and only two screens resolutions to write for. A WP7 tablet woud add an entirely new form factor again.

Well if you use the "Panoramic Hub" principle to create your app you could unfloud that hub into seperate columns on a wide landscape tablet... Might be a good thing , but yess in general scaling is not a good idea.

I don't think adding one more screen resolution would hurt. The form factor could be kept the same, just enlarged, similar to what Apple did with the iPod Touch and the iPad.

I have Windows 7 Home Edition on my LE1600 slate from Motion Computing. Not sure why you say it's not ideal.
