I only have a Hohner Arbor MX1 (can't find any decent pictures on-line).
Reading peoples reviews, it seems quite highly rated. Shame I haven't really played if for about 10 years.

My favorite of my two basses is my main instrument, an Fender American Standard Precision Bass I got a couple of years ago to replace my 80's MIM Jazz Bass Special. Out of my 4 guitars, my fav would have to be the most recent; a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR. I've also got a nice low end Martin acoustic, an American Tele and an old Korean Les Paul knockoff.

Oh yeh, I guess I should come clean on that point as well.

Favorite that I own is my '90 Charvel Predator. It's tough to beat those '90s import Jacksons as far as bang for the buck.

I can't get down to one favorite guitar, but I'll tell you about my two favorite. The first would be my Green Jem.
Originally my personal website (www.greenjem.com) was used to track the first 777 green Ibanez Jem guitars. They are all signed and numbered by Steve Vai. Mine is #103 and also has "To Larry" written on the back from Steve Vai. You'll see it has one of the very rare wrist rests on it that never actually shipped with the Jem because Kramer had a patent that it violated and wouldn't license to Ibanez.
The second is a guitar I built myself.
This one uses a Ibanez Saber neck and has a body that I built myself and electronics from a Saber. The body has two monkey grips instead of one, huge access cut away, the body is cut as thin as a Parker Fly, the front is signed (and scribbled on) by Joe Satriani, the back is signed by Steve Vai and Joe Dispangi (the guy who invented the Jem line of guitars). Evolution pickup in the bridge. The paint job was done by Darren Michaels, a buddy of mine who did all the original swirl paint jobs on the Jem and Universe guitars. This color scheme was eventually used in one of the G3 tours so the guitar matches very well with a couple of the posters from that tour that are also signed by everyone in G3. This one also has a Lo Pro Edge II tremelo and a rare wrist rest.
All of these and more hang in my office at home.

I LOVED Charvels back in the day. I used to have a red Model IV-A with a floating cam Kahler.

I have an SG 61 Reissue which is probably my favourite at the moment - it's also my most recent acquisition.
Being Aussie I also fly the flag with a Maton Acoustic E325C and a Master Sound which is has a very retro feel but is a lot of fun to play.

Air-Guitar.
It sounds better than any other guitar ever made, and with it I can play better than any guitarist, present, past or future.

I used to have a strat, and regret selling it when I decided I was crap, and got a pair of turntables instead. God I loved that instrument, with that rosewood neck. Back then it was a 62' Fender or a 59' Les Paul that gave me wet dreams (and the Ovations). I remember reading about your SC1200 quite a bit in guitarist magazine, but I am quite rusty, it was only another recent thread that reminded me wbout the word pentatonic, I think I best stop, coz I'm sounding like an old fogey (creme brulee in "The Fast Show")

agile makes a damn fine guitar on the cheap (rather their korean friends). i mean super super cheap. upgrade the stock pickups and you have a guitar that feels and plays like a $3000 guitar for about $400.
i own a al-3000 sunburst set by a pro luthier and everyone who plays it is impressed. i also own a mexi-tele and strat, but the agile is my favorite.
i recommend the entry level agiles to everyone i know with kids. for <$100 they blow away the cheap squires and epiphones.

Hey, I want an acoustic guitar for under $120. Any suggestions?

i like the "applause" line for budget acoustics. they're made by the same company that makes ovation and they have a nice sound, really low action and they have electric pickups so you can plug in. frets will wear but that's true of any <$400 acoustic.
