Charles,

They say time heals all wounds, but I have a pretty good memory. I might be mean spirited, but the same way a parent is mean spirited when a child is naughty and needs to be disciplined.

As we have said several times, much of the reliability and performance experience with this version had more to do with than just the application's code base and architecture... As you will learn, the new version is both a complete rewrite (I'd imagine they recycled some code...) and a new architecture plus new hosting environment (very important). I think we'll see that Azure will do a great job executing and scaling C9. When you get to preview it, please take it for a long ride and submit feedback/bugs. Performance and Reliabilty is a "Rev9" pillar, as Dan mentioned. This means much focus and effort was put on building a snappy experience for a data-heavy application that scales.

Finally, be nice. People gravitate towards honest feedback that is also not belittling and harsh. The latter accomplishes nothing and only makes people feel bad.

Smile at the sky. It doesn't always rain, man.

Keep on posting,

C
