Woo! Yet Boo! I don't like this whole release to MSDN subscribers first. Although I'm sure I'd love it if I had one, I hate it because I don't!

Visual Studio.NET 2005 Beta 2 is out and it has really made my day.
I was waiting eagerly and it is a really great news for all those of us who want to move to .NET 2.0.
It has really made my weekend. I've been planning for designing and developing Apps in .NET 2.0.
I Love MS Guys.. Thanks..

Yeah, it is AWESOME !!!
I'm installing it right now!
When I saw the message here on Channel9 that it was on MSDN, I was all shaking, like oh my god, oh my god, it has finally happened!!!
I was so overjoyed that I needed 5 minutes before I could compose myself again and surf to the download site. Luckily the download came in at a blazing 900KByte/sec, so I only had to wait less than an hour.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MS !!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY IN MY LIFE SINCE A LONG LONG TIME!!!!!! -

pretty much slow,isn't it?
I've spent 28 hours to download the Visual C# Express some time before, and it's just 80 MB... -
same speed here too... must be the load of all the folks grabbing it plus it may not be fully into the server farm .... you know if they have say 50 down, load servers but it's only in 25 of themn fro example. but that should auto-copy to more of them as it goes.

Lets conduct a "security test" of the download server, someone post a MSDN subscription direct download link and we will see if we can use it

excellent suggestion.... -
I concur. It is in Microsoft best interest to test out their MSDN servers!
