I'm a subscriber to free software magazine from the UK, and in the last issue they talk about bringing KDE to windows, and porting the window managers we like so much on linux to windows, perhaps even gnome too.
I like this idea. They've ported BlackBox to Windows and it makes a great replacement shell. It's no Fluxbox, but it's a start.
I think KDE is a little too close to Windows though, Gnome or Elightenment would be cool.
