C9 is a "community site", it has a forum, wiki and videos.

(Notice how "blog" doesn't come anywhere near C9!)

Sometimes you wonder if an interviewer has any real interest in what they're asking.

Heh, yeah, when the camera goes to Scoble and you can still partially see her face, she looks totally uninterested.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this interview .  Scoble is, as always, right on about the power of the blogger.


And hmm, it's great to see my site being mentioned on C9 without a huge complaint attached .

I agree - I learned alot from watching this.

I wish robert would write a quick post called "Everything you need to no about blogging but were afraid to ask"

I "get" the blog part and the rss part.  What i dont get is how do you connect up to the blogoshere? If you are running a blog from a home server (not a big blog site that already has people) how do you promote it?

Im sure there are pages and pages of articles on this - but id love a "Blog primer" by RS

Something like: 10 steps to a popular blog:

1. get any blog that supports rss and atom
2. check to see the feeds work
3. submit your blog here and here
4. get this reader add on for outlook
5. use these sites to monitor key words
etc

id find that useful

I could write a lot about how to get your blog discovered. Make sure your blog tool pings weblogs.com though.

Although some of the suggestions on Blogger.com are specific to that site/tool, there are some pretty good general ideas there too.

Is that why you have the black business cards, too? Although I didn't get one when you visited Minneapolis back on the 5th...I think you ran out of them (or something like that).
