HDCD blah

Uh, HDCD is physically a 16bit audio stream, like regular CD audio. Except that it's a cheap hack. The lowest significant bit will be used by HDCD to carry a control stream, that toggles a bunch of filter and dynamics compression option in a HDCD decoder. What you get is either a 16bit stream with increased quantisation noise on regular playback equipment, or a 15bit stream reprocessed in a DSP. Yay for that.
