I am sure this topic has been discussed before, but I would like to re-emphasize how much I would like to see this option for IE7.

I would really really like it if Microsoft and Macromedia work together to allow a user to control flash based ads on websites.  I am so tired of coming across a site where the first thing I see and hear is some annoying flash ad telling me to swat a fly or shot a photo of some celebrity. 

I have resorted to using Firefox on these sites so that I can actually view the site without being annoyed.  Of course, a user has to add an extension to do this in Firefox and I am sure some option is available for IE.
