Now Intel sucks and AMD are better... why? -

Oh come on, I thought that this was ancient history by now.
They kept investing in RedHat since 1998 and, as far as I know, the practice hasn't stopped. -

There's this nifty repository of information called the World Wide Web. It's simply amazing what you can learn out there.
For starters, Intel is a member of the Open Source Development Labs [source: OSDL website], and contributes to funding the Linux Legal Defense Fund [source: OSDL Annual Report to Members 2004].
