Just downloaded this, and seems quite good. Does anyone know what it uses to get the email count. As I tried setting an unread message in both Outlook Express on my hotmail account, and one in Outlook. The screensaver only reported one unread message,
which is from the hotmail account.
If possible it would be nice if the unread message count included emails in Outlook.

Could you answer a quick question for me? Does it let you use MSN search from the screensaver?

No, it launches your web browser.
I find this intensely annoying; you cannot grab content from the screensaver, only links to content in your web browser. -

By "your web browser" do you mean "IE" or "Obeys system settings"?

have you figured out how to use the RSS that is built in to this product?

No. But this gives me an idea. The NinerStat Framework contains alot of functions and properties that will allow you (a programmer?) to create a screensaver of your own using our framework.
Of course, you'd first have to ask.

Sure; hit "Settting" in the Screensaver Display Items window.
Or go to MSN Screensaver in the MSN Toolbar/Desktop Search settings.
There's a RSS option there, and you can add your own feeds (oh, but allow me to scream in rage and frustration because they DON'T ALLOW OPML IMPORT!)
Oh, well, it's a beta I suppose. Heh. -

Yes, yes I am.
We need as many testers as we can get on this product. Personally (for me since i was the only developer for both n'Stat Pro and n'Stat Lite) it's a big release this year.
You can add me to your MSN Messenger list as well, if you wish. (Look under my Display Photo in this reply).
We're based in Kevil, Kentucky. Well, actually I am in Spokane WA, but Travis Howle (hence Elwoh) is in Kevil.
Hope I answered all your questions:
Steve.
