Would it be possible for someone from the Passport team explain the checkbox "Sign me in automatically"?
I am finding that Passport almost never signs me in automatically when I visit xbox live or hotmail after having used the checkbox.

I am not on the passport team but I have noticed this behaviour as well. I think it has to do with your security settings in your browser, if you have them set medium or higher than I don't think it will work.
Of course this is just a guess.
