Depends on how fast I want to write

I've got a deadline job, then I usually put something fast paced on, like Sonic Mayhem, Frank Klepacki, The Prodigy, etc...
Whereas, if I need to be creative, usually Muse or Adam Freeland, maybe something from my "Others" collection.
Else, whatever's next in my playlist. -
LOTRs soundtrack / pirates of the caribbean soundtrack... Various others... Nothing special
-
Mega Man 3 soundtrack. It's also what I do chicks to.
-
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Big Head Todd and the Monsters
Pink Floyd
The Church
Dream Academy (i feel like such a wuss) -

Same here.
Thats a really good one actually all three are great. -
It really does depend.
1) Most of the corporates I'm at find music at work unprofessional, and I have to agree.
2) At home, well it depends on what I'm doing, but right now it's acoustic jazz guitar. Or a 24 hour news channel. Or Futurama

I work in a room with three other people, and it's not a big room - about 18 ft x 18 ft, no cubicles. One of them's my boss and he's quite often on the phone. There are plenty of distractions - ringing phones, people having impromptu design discussions (possibly with some of the three people who work in the other room), people talking on the phone. To be able to concentrate, I need to listen to something to blank out everything else that's going on.
Today's selection has been Presidents of the United States Of America - their eponymous first album. Yesterday it was Franz Ferdinand and Joe Satriani. Later on it might be Electric Six or Sack Trick, or perhaps Jimi Hendrix - haven't decided yet. -
