My subscribed music stopped working yesterday... which coincides with my subscription going from free to paid. I just paid $10 for all my music to stop working. I thought it'd clear up today, but no such luck.

What do the app settings -> Account say ?
Oh, I didn't even realize that was there... but mine says:
1 Month Music Pass
Renews on 4/11/2013
So, that shows that I'm current, right?
BTW, I hard-reset it like some of the articles I read, and still not working
Have you tried deleting an album and re-downloading one to see if that works? To test if the subscription is working.
I tried downloading new music, yes... I can play them while in the store... but when I download the music, it won't play
Welp! after an hr w/ support, trying everything, the last 2 options were: 1) Factory Reset and 2) Cancel subscription (w/ refund) and resubscribing...
I opted for 2) cuz setting up the apps again is more work...
Sometimes I forget Xbox Music is a 1.0 product on a 1.0 OS
You'd think they'd have worked out all of these bugs when it was known as the Zune Pass. Sometimes I wonder what goes on inside Microsoft.
I wonder too. On the one hand, it is a 1.0 product. On the other hand, you'd think that MS would try harder having only 4% of the marketshare.
It goes to further show that MS is NOT a consumer company.
More update: Today, I tried to re-purchase the subscription, the credit card that is used for Xbox Live won't charge. Billing address is fine, a call to Discover said they don't see a problem, and asked me to call MS support. Sigh.
@Minh: Sorry to hear this, Minh! I've asked a few folks for contacts inside the Xbox Music squad to see if we can help figure this out. Did you call support again?

I used to have an iPhone but I retired it as soon as i got my windows phone 7. I live in Australia and i was very happy using the Zune pass and paying $112 bucks a year for all the music i wanted but as soon as I replaced my Windows phone 7 with the Lumia Phone 8 I decided to completely cancel my subscription because the Zune pass was no longer available and xbox music was pretty confusing.
To be honest, had to start using "Nokia Music" which is a lot more expensive... it was the first time that i contemplated in start using my iPhone again.
i got joby and james an xbox last christmas - i am uncle hero! ![]()
I am now told that I must make my Xbox Live live email and my WP8 email the same if I want to use Xbox Music Pass on my phone... Maybe I was tired... but I didn't even bother to ask why that would prevent my credit card from being charged.
So, even though MS lets me tie multiple live accounts together, I might not be able to use my Music Pass on my phone even if I was able to buy it?
They gave me a way of changing my Xbox Live email account to the one used on my phone, but I haven't tried that yet. MS Support hasn't been very supportive.
Message received.
Keep on nining,
C
PS: I'm channeling Jamie?
Thanks for trying, Charles. It's weird that I never thought much about subscription music, to loving the hell out of it, to have the shock of losing it, to now can't give people enough money to have it back.
hi minh!

wow the ideas Xbox Music brings (if it were a full fledged PC)
Hi jamie
you can play Xbox music on your pc... Only if its win8
is that post-pc pc though?
I use it regularly, and yes, you must link all the accounts to your Microsoft Account on your phone and Windows 8. That's a bit of a pain - it doesn't make much sense to allow you to link multiple accounts of other people, but not your own - I mean, specifically, two or more Microsoft Accounts per user should be allowed and supported.
