This has always been a problem. The Windows Phone Blog will blog about some great new app "in the marketplace now". You won't actually see it in the marketplace on your phone for days, though. You can go to the web and install it, but that experience is poor, at best.

Play long audio it it'll pause at random.

Oh and it doesn't restart from the lock screen. You can pause it like you would the music player, but if you try pressing play on the lock screen it doesn't work.
