(I'm MSDN subscriber and have free basic Azure quota.)</p><p>In additional to the $0 bill, it also contain things like storage capacity and&nbsp;CPU quota usage that help you have rough idea on whether you're nearly exceed your quota, so you can either reduce your usage or buy some quota.</p>]]></description>

I don't want to crack it open without having a good idea as to what I should do with it. But, I likely won't know what to do with it until I crack it open. Currently I just use&nbsp;SQL Azure&nbsp;as handy SQL testing tool when I have to work onsite and doesn't have direct connection to SQL server. (Some don't allow vendors to directly touch the server once it goes production, they'll just run modified SQL statements for us&nbsp;there, so I have to find way to find out the statement I wrote is correct.)</p>]]></description>

But you have to contact your Microsoft sales rep and they have to draw up a minimal consumption agreement and then they send you an invoice.</p><p>I had to use that construction when I did a project for our parliament. They didn't want to give up their credit card. One of the steps was to do a credit check, of the Dutch government, lol.</p>]]></description>

Usually te school has plenty of ict means at their disposal.</p><p>If it hasn't then you could buy a domain name, put the cname record on the current instance and create a new trail in 90 days and alter cname. then you could keep it free for a bit longer.</p><p>Or you can write your local Microsoft rep. They are usually quite happy to help for a bit of press coverage.</p>]]></description>
