Can't agree about the 7" form factor. That size is ideal for a consumption device, IMHO. A 7" Surface would be a great device. Then again, I wouldn't care to own a 7" Surface Pro. However, the "mini iPad" is no Surface Pro.

That's the problem with talking about form factors. There is no "right" size generically. There's only a "right" size for specific usage scenarios.
