I didn't expect it to be sold out a month before the conference. I am glad I registered when it was announced.

How can it sell out when most of us still don't know who the *&%$ the conference is for, or what it's agenda even is?
-
@Harlequin: I tried to log on with my windows live credentials, and it looks like there are still tickets.
What is your source ESgarbi?
-
That bites. I was trying to make arrangements to go.
-
@Harlequin: They have updated the website, because that was not what I saw earlier. The good things is the complainers can be silenced for now, excitation exists for the non WPF & Silverlight Luddites
-
@vesuvius: Silenced?!?? Hardly. I have tickets and plan on making lots of noise while I'm there.

-
The fact that a vague conference with no posted agenda can sell out shows that Microsoft is still a fairly strong brand in the developer community.
-
The agenda is the future of Windows. That should be enough to get attention, just like WWDC does it.
-
@Bass:The conference name reminds me of legos for some reason. I like legos. If I could, I probably would have found a way to go.
(Why does this event have to be in Sept? I'm in CA right now for the summer and would have been able to go.)
-
@MasterPie: Yeah, September is just the wrong month this year. If it weren't for the fact that I'm getting married that week, I'd be there. Hmmm....I wonder if I could get the Gu to perform the ceremony.

Every time you pluralize LEGO, a kitten dies.

Just in case they beat a free Samsung 10.1" w/Honeycomb, a free Verizon hotspot w/3 mos service and a free chromebook. Come on Bill Gates, ya dumb rich butt cruncher, you can beat that right?
I could care less about Windows 8. I do most of my work on a Mac now. BTW, Lion not coming with the JVM was pretty sh1tty.

Admit it, you're happy as a child and counting the days

Very glad for you that you can go,
Peter

With a span of 5 days, this conference can afford a vague agenda. There's probably something for everyone. Hell, even beer is going and you know actions speak louder than words

-
Boo. I say "legos" all the time.
-
Excuse me while I grab a Kleenex and cry.

It's not only sold out, it's oversold! They sent me a cancellation e-mail this morning after I had already registered over the weekend and received my confirmation number via e-mail.
Must have been a computer glitch that allowed my registration to go through...maybe the registration system is running on Windows 8 Beta!!!
