Oops, something didn't work.
Hi,
I have a 10 mbps ADSL connection in South Africa and I am able to watch HD video footage off Youtube without any buffering.
HOWEVER, Channel 9 video is impossible to watch. It buffers for about 25 seconds after every 5 seconds of video watched.
Any advice? As I am now effectively unable to consume any of the content on Channel 9.

Try downloading the video and then watching it when it's downloaded to your machine.
