I have been using Office Communicator 2005 from my home, without connecting to the VPN, for several years now without a problem. However, I recently changed my home wireless network to AT&T U-Verse and since then I have not been able to connect to the Communicator from my home unless I login to my company's VPN. I am able to connect to Communicator in other areas such as airports, hotels etc.
It appears to me that AT&T U-Verse's firewall settings are blocking Communicator. And when I called AT&T, they were not very helpful.
Does anyone know how to get over this problem?
