Which reminds me, what's up with all the category hoopla that happened a year or so ago? Is anyone using that?

It's all over the place!  And they keep saying you don't need to learn math to program.  "Category hoopla" ... abstract nonsense, that's what they call it.  Implementations are in LINQ and in just about everything async now.  It's never going away.  It's as fundamental as functions now.

The monadic curse makes for a good paradox. Once you understand monads, you are unable to effectively explain them to others.
