Any 9-ers familiar with developping games (from scratch) ?
I'm looking for examples / books / papers about designing and implementing games. What architectures are most used (for some sort of games) and what are the best practises when creating games? How to manage game objects , game economy, frame rendering...
It may be info at any leven of abstraction. Any info is welcome! I'm not looking for examples how to code for use input in XNA or something like this. It's about patterns like we have "3 tier" or "MVC" or "Factory pattern" in coding languages. The big pictures how it all fits together.
