All we can do for now is mark them as spam and alert the C9 team to delete the threads when they get to work in the morning.
I have some mod powers now but I cannot delete threads otherwise they would be gone!

@TLapworth93: Don't worry about the content -- just text and phone numbers, no graphics or links. I've marked them all as spam and emailed the C9 team, so hopefully they will vanish in a few hours.

Deleting them from the website doesn't remove them from RSS feeds, unfortunately. In cases like this, C9 should be doing some spam detection and delaying posts until they can be verified if they look like spam. Don't let this crap get into the RSS feed.

@Ian2: I have recently been given mod powers to lock threads and remove individual posts, but I cannot delete threads (I cannot remove the original post on a thread either), so if someone spams an existing thread I can remove it, but I cannot remove the current rashes of threads.
