Wow, that is a narrow kitchen. Is that typical in the UK ?
Or does the space expand like inside the Tartus (did I spell that right?).
I wonder if that's matching Tartus salt and pepper shakers on the left countertop ?

sorry but it's T.A.R.D.I.S
Time And Relative Dimensions In Space
now you know .....
anyone know the name of the Dr. ??
My guess that might be a flat in London - space is at a premium and there is no shortage of nerds with money.
@figuerres: "but it's T.A.R.D.I.S"
No wonder only 1 relevant picture showed up in my image search.
I am a fan of Dr. Who and have probably seen almost every episode of the originals.

In "The Wedding of River Song" (2011), it is stated that the Doctor's true name is a secret that must never be revealed.

I had a terraced house in henley and the kitchen was that width. That's what we get for not knocking housing down every 25 years or so. My terrace was from the early 1800s.

Its meant as more of a riddle than that. We're told when the question is asked, silence will fall.
Sounds like what Wittgenstein wrote -- that what cannot be said must be passed over in silence... turned into a kind of literal thing.
Moffat has suggested in interviews that his name is just "The Doctor" and that the word "doctor" in the English language is a reference to him, The Doctor. ie. the answer to the riddle is that there is no riddle.
"What's the doctor's name?"
"Who."
"The doctor! What's his name?"
"Doctor Who."
"That's what I'm asking you!"

(too bad his name isn't actually Doctor Who)
@Sven Groot: I used to know someone with the surname Watts. They would have conversations similar to that at times ![]()
Well, it's 'Herbie', obviously ...

actually the gag has been running for years and starts with the Dr. showing up and giving his name at the start of an episode .... he has done this a few times but not often.
then some human - often a military officer or government official misses the name and asks "Dr. Who?"
Hello I am Dr. J____ S____
....
Dr. Who ?
I do not recall exactly what episodes have done it but I know that it happened back in the 70's with at least one of the classic Dr.'s
recently I loved the Ep where the lady did not know she was converted to a Daleck Body and made them all forget the Dr. and they all started saying "Dr. Who, Dr. Who......" that one was great!
his name he gave may have well been a fake as it's so very very common ![]()
