I've never been able to do that (OK maybe after 5 years or so).

"Zoolander"  - still enjoy it even though I know what is coming (maybe because I know what is coming?) and I'm pretty sure I watched it the last couple of times it was on TV - within the last year or so.

Even movies that I like, after the first couple of viewings, I can only watch about once a year. I end up remembering them clearly enough that the plot parts tend to drag on..."come on, blow something up". Unless there's a performance that I don't mind watch repeatedly. Some of the Star Trek movies, LOTR, Heath Ledger as Joker, etc.

I'm the same the films I watch over and over aren't the 'best' I've seen, things like ID4, Armageddon, Down Periscope, The Core, Repli-Kate etc.

In fact the higher I rate a move on first viewing, the less likely I am to watch it more than once.  Action/Explosions tend to help though Smiley

I suppose it's because the films I watch most often, I tend to dip in and out of while doing other stuff so have to be easy to drop into and also to walk away from, if that makes sense.

I enjoy watching Crimson Tide whenever it comes on as well. Tony Scott directed it, but it has that Jerry Bruckheimer-influenced way of interweaving technical jargon into dialog the way all the CSI series do.

I think I'm just not that into fantasy books (except for Hobbit/LOTR which I really enjoyed).
