Oops, something didn't work.
Whenever someone posts a link to a WP7 app I can never see them because I don't have the Zune client installed (I don't have a phone) but it looks like now anyone can see the app marketplace in a browser.

Yeah, it is pretty new, like 1 month or something. It is good because people can browse the app store before they even buy a WP or doing any commitment such as installing anything.

There was no reason to not let anyone view all the apps anyway. How are you supposed to market something when only people who already own the hardware (why else would you have the Zune client installed) can look at what apps are available.

I never understood why this wasn't possible earlier either. Especially since you've been able to browse and buy Xbox Live Arcade games on xbox.com since the dawn of time.
