Both Nokia and HTC offer strong lower and higher end phones. So I dont see the need to make their own phone. They make Surface because Windows is not Winphone. It would make sense to make WinMo8 phone, but, since we have WinPhone, it no longer need such thing, unless OEM failed big time at hardware.

Maybe this new phone does not make phone calls. I know you think I am joking but if you only have a data plan and text messaging you could save alot of money. On top of that, none of the high schoolers I know pick up the phone or make calls. Its for the young generation. Its all text messaging. The new MicroMute.
