Never can a political discussion come up without saying "but FOX NEWS!!!"  I'm conservative, but I don't watch FOX News and I don't vote Tea Party and I generally support environmentally responsible efforts (that aren't obviously politically motivated).

Turning every political argument on FOX News is possibly the most common straw man in existence.  I find that such people not only fail to understand their stated position, but appear more like sheeple than those they ridicule.

You're discounting the countless millions who are influenced by Fox News. It is after all the most watched news channel according to itself. I could understand your point if Fox News was just a small wart on conservatives' backside but it's a key propaganda machine for them and thus rightfully so included in these political debates. Maybe the conservatives need more people like you to stand up to Fox News and tell them to knock it off.
